Statistics and support for small business

Economic figures published by the government are leaving small businesses behind, according to the CEO of the Council of Small Business Organisations Australia, Alexi Boyd. She says that, because data is used to form policy, it is crucial that statisticians start breaking down measurements by sector, and that government should start demanding figures that reflect what small business is actually experiencing in the economy.
